D Shift got another great training in Thanks to the recent Lt. Stevens and the FRA.
At martins west in Woodlawn. A very hot day for a house burning. Crews were able to make several burns in the attic and a few on the second floor before the heat Index climbed over 100 and crews were forced to eat a catered lunch and allow the house to burn. Fun times and educational. Remember TRAIN HARD OR TRANSFER!!!!!

only half of the house left

Halethorpe Fire is wretchedly announcing farewell to two special members Lt. Missy Stevens and Fire Specialist William White.

A shift is losing a long time comrade who seeks to be closer to home, after battling the interstate’s to get to and from work, F.S. White has moved closer to home, he has relocated to a station that most members don’t even know exist in our Fire Department. This being said E 54 will more than likely be seen plenty more at the fire rescue academy? As Whitey helps the FRA out when they need personnel to support in fire training.  Whitey you will be sorely missed.

D Shift has said their farewells to Lieutenant Stevens, Missy has left D shift with an abundance of excellent memories and knowledge.  Missy will always think of her shift ever time she hears a door bell ring.  Lt. Stevens has arranged that the Train Hard or Transfer legend lives on by securing several training events for D shift, their newly acquired certification of NFPA 1403 will come in handy for several upcoming burns.  Lt. Stevens we will miss you dearly.

Halethorpe Fire wishes you both farewell, please be safe! and always remember you both have a home in Halethorpe!!!!!
